How we write, test and compare

Looqa.ai makes a digital wardrobe app, and we also write guides about wardrobes and compare wardrobe apps. That makes us a party, not a neutral reviewer. This page says how we deal with that.

How we test

Methods in our guides are tried on a real wardrobe before we publish them. Facts about other apps come from their own website and App Store listing, with the date we checked them; where we used an app ourselves, the page says so. Screenshots of Looqa come from the app itself.

How we compare apps, including our own

Every comparison says at the top that we make Looqa.ai. We compare on criteria we state on the page (price, free limit, platforms, language, how items get in, outfit planning, insight into what you wear), we name what Looqa does not do, and we date every price we quote. Nobody pays us to be included or to rank higher.

Sources

Figures come from sources we link to, such as WRAP and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. Where we give our own estimate or example, we say so.

How we use AI

We use AI tools for research and first drafts. Every guide is read, checked and edited by a person before it goes live, and facts, prices and claims about apps are checked by hand.

Updates and corrections

Guides show when they were last updated. We revise comparisons when prices or features change. Found a mistake? Mail hello@looqa.ai and we fix it, with the date of the change.
